Booking & Cancellation Policy

There are three (3) BOOKING and CANCELLATION POLICY choices available according to your selected rate.

FLEXIBLE RATES No deposit required at time of booking. Travellers who cancel prior to 13:00 AEST 7 days or more before the day of check-in are charged no fee. Travellers who cancel within the 7 days after (after 13:00 AEST) are charged 50% of the booking amount being non-refundable. Any cancellation received on your check-in date will incur the remaining charge of your booking (100% of the booking value). This will be debited to the credit card entered in your booking. If this payment fails, you will be contacted to provide a valid credit card or your booking will be cancelled. Failure to arrive at the retreat or property will be treated as a No-Show and will incur a charge of 100% of the booking value payable.

NON-REFUNDABLE RATES provides the lowest price option. 100% of the booking value is required at time of booking. This booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. Travellers who cancel at any time (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount

PLAY AND STAY PACKAGES - 25% non-refundable payable on confirmation of booking. Balance payable 24 hours prior to arrival. All amounts paid are non-refundable but may be transferable to one new booking date within 6-months of the original booking subject to conditions.

REFUNDS - All credit card deposits and refunds will incur a 2% merchant fee. A minimum cancellation fee of $200 is also applied. To avoid detection criminals may use a stolen credit cards to secure reservations and then request refunds to a different account or card. To protect against this fraudulent refund activity, Fairways must always process any refunds to the same card that was used for the original reservation.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to Fairways Golf and Beach Retreat!
To ensure your safety and well-being while inside the complex we have implemented the following important guidelines:

Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and standard check-out time is 10:00 AM
Each apartment is privately owned with holiday lettings coordinated through a management rights model. Everything contained in each apartment must be accounted for. Individual furniture, fittings and inclusions vary between each apartment. On behalf of owners, we request that any damages or maintenance issues are reported to reception office prior to check-out. Failure to advise prior to departure will result in your credit card being charged according to the Schedule of Charges contained in this information sheet.

YOUR OBLIGATION

As a guest of this complex, you are expected to conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful of others and does not impede on the rights of other residents to their peaceful enjoyment. You must observe and obey the house-rules (contained in this document). Guests who fail to observe these rules may be asked to vacate without refund. In the event of non-compliance or aggression, Police will be contacted immediately.
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN ALL APARTMENTS. NO CLOTHES OR TOWELS TO BE HUNG FROM BALCONY RAILINGS

ROOM SECURITY

Credit card details are held and retained for 28 days after your booking for the purpose of room security. This is to cover breakages, damages and extra-ordinary cleaning requirements. We reserve the right to pre-authorise an amount up to $250 on your credit card at the time of check-in. This will be automatically released back to you by your bank provided that there are no additional charges. If credit card security cannot be provided an equivalent cash security deposit will be required.

CONTACTING RECEPTION

Call in or dial 07 3400 2100 to contact reception during office hours. After hours and in the event of emergencies this number will automatically divert to contact on-site management mobile 24-7and requires you to leave a message

AFTER HOURS

Should you return to the retreat afterhours without your group or keys and reception assistance is required an afterhours access fee of $50 applies.

WIFI / INTERNET

Free WIFI is available to you on check-in, or by way of information sheet provided with your late key. You will need to connect to the network with id (SSID) of Fairways Retreat The WPA security key / password is provided at reception upon check-in.

PETS

Is it a condition of all reservations that pets are ‘NOT’ permitted within any apartments and/or the boundaries of the retreat by guests and/or any visitors of the guests.

DAMAGES / BREAKAGES & ADDITIONAL CLEANIN

Accidents happen and breakages occur – That is totally understandable! In order to minimize costs for breakages we have set charges for damaged items when these are notified to us prior to your departure. Charges for other items are based on actual replacement cost + 10%. If not notified to reception an additional charge of $20 applies for administrative costs.
You are expected to wash, dry, and put away dishes and cooking utensils prior to your departure. All rubbish should be removed & placed down the garbage chute prior to departure. Recyclables should be paced in YELLOW lid bins at base of lift.

SCHEDULE OF CHARGES (LINEN)

Fairways linen is provided as a service with all linen administered by the service provider through RFID tags. Should any linen go missing from your apartment during your stay the following charges will be administered to your nominated credit card.

SCHEDULE OF CHARGES (LOST & FOUND)

Fairways takes no responsibility for items left in rooms or common area by residents or guests. Should an item be found Fairways will hold for 30-days at which time the property will be disposed. If you require items to shipped, Fairways request owner of the property to post a return post-paid packet suffice for the item to be returned. If you require Fairways services for returns a standard fee of $50 plus postage applies.

ROOM SERVICE & STARTER PACK

Fairways Retreat offers affordable holiday accommodation. We are not a hotel and offer discounts based on the duration of your stay. Unless otherwise negotiated your room provisions are for starting supplies only and do not include daily servicing. A weekly service is provided unless negotiated as part of longer-term discount rate. Your starter pack includes towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry liquid, scourer, dish wipe, soaps, tea and coffee, shampoo, bath gel & conditioner, and toilet rolls for each bathroom.
If you need additional supplies during your stay, call into reception. Costs are as follows:

COMMON AREAS

The ground common areas including Swimming Pool and BBQs areas are available between 8:00-20:00 (Sun-Mon) and 08:00-21:00 (Sat-Sun). Please ensure area is vacated outside of this time. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times. Observation from your apartment balcony does not constitute supervision. There are no exceptions to this rule and a ban will apply to use of this area in the event of a breach. Under no circumstances should glass items be taken within 2 meters of the pool edge. Guests who drink from glass in the pool will be asked to leave immediately.

PUTT PUTT

For peace and enjoyment of all residences and guests please:

Children under 12 to be supervised at all times
Play at own risk
Do not swing putter above ankles
Golf ball to be carried between holes
Anyone smashing balls out of course or into fence will be asked to leave
Return putters and golf balls to reception when finished

BBQ’s

are provided free for your enjoyment. A condition of use is that BBQ’s must be cleaned after use for the benefit of the next guest. Materials are provided for this purpose next to each BBQ. A $100 fee applies when BBQ’s are not cleaned or the area left in an untidy state. Constant video surveillance is used to monitor for this purpose. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.

Rubbish Disposal

You are expected to dispose of all rubbish prior to departure. Garbage chutes on each level may be used to dispose of general waste. Please ensure that garbage bags are tied and sealed prior to throwing down the chute. Recyclables including glass should be placed in yellow lid bins at basement level outside of lifts. NEVER throw glass down the chute – glass explodes on impact becoming a serious safety issue which might result in damages to persons below. You may be criminally liable for these damages.

DO NOT USE GARBAGE SHUTE BETWEEN 08:30PM-07:30AM (Respectfully take rubbish to bins on basement carpark)

Noise Guidelines

You are required to be considerate of the peaceful enjoyment of other residents. While common sense is required the following guidelines must be adhered to:

Balconies must be vacated by 21:00 (or 22:00 Saturday). If your social activity extends beyond this time, please close balcony doors and move inside to prevent noise transferring to other units through open air.
Rooftop BBQ and common area must be vacated by 21:00 (Sun-Thurs) and 22:00 on (Fri-Sat).
Loud music, horns, whistles, screaming and use of noisy powered devices will interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of others and accordingly are prohibited at all times.
