Only a short stroll from Fairways you will access a beautiful beach. Small waves are generally perfect for children and the clear warm water will invite swimmers and paddlers. If you are keen for a walk you can follow the beach south to Red Beach or north to the Woorim patrolled beach and township. Water temperature vary from summers 28 degrees to winter of around 22 degrees. It is not uncommon to see bathers during the winter months.
A trip to Bribie Island is not complete without experiecing a sunset over the water (Pumicestone passage) at Bongaree. With the backdrop of the glasshouse mountains some great photos and memories await. There are some great eating spots along the passage including the very popular Savages Seafood and fine dining at ‘At The Jetty’
